3D plastic PEEK reinforced, 1 kg

PEEK material for 3D printing

What is PEEK material and where is it used? In general terms, it is a refractory semi-crystalline plastic with high strength. It is resistant to high temperatures, extremely rigid, and impact resistant. In industry, PEEK material is used to manufacture parts and components for the aerospace and automotive industries, as well as in the medical field. It is the optimal 3D plastic for technical applications in 3D printing, coming to the rescue where the strength of other polymers is insufficient.

Along with its many advantages, PEEK has one significant feature that affects its use. The material can only be used in 3D printers with an extruder heating temperature exceeding 340°C. Such devices include, in particular, 3D printers from the CreatBot line. The PEEK 3D plastic presented on this page is an improved version of the original material. It consists of 70% PEEK plastic, 10% carbon fiber, 10% graphite, and 10% PTFE.
