xTool M2 3W 1064 nm Infrared Laser Module
This is a removable infrared module for the xTool M2 laser machine. With a wavelength of 1064 nm, it engraves and marks metals and some plastics on an area of 300 × 294 mm. An optical power of 3 W and a laser spot size of 0.03 mm ensure the clarity of fine elements. The module works directly with the material surface — no need to use marking sprays or pastes.
Features of the Infrared Laser Module
- Infrared Laser 1064 nm: The wavelength is adapted for marking metals such as steel, aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, precious metals, as well as plastics like ABS, PC. It creates a durable and contrasting pattern due to the direct absorption of the beam by the material.
- Power 3 W and Focus 0.03 mm: The emitter parameters allow for clear engraving of small text, barcodes, QR codes, and complex graphics.
- Magnetic Mounting: The module is fixed on the xTool M2 machine carriage using magnets and a single cable. No additional tools are required for installation.
- Control in One Software: Power, speed, engraving resolution, and layout positioning settings are performed in the xTool Creative Space software.
Material Compatibility
- Materials for Direct Marking: Stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, brass, copper, gold, silver, as well as opaque plastics (ABS, PC, etc.).
- Processing Properties: The infrared beam 1064 nm is absorbed directly by metal and plastic, so sprays or thermal pastes are not needed. The engraving is durable and contrasting.
Limitations: The module is not suitable for wood, leather, fabrics, and transparent acrylic — diode or CO₂ lasers are needed for these materials.
