Carbon plastic is a mixture of a base polymer (often PLA) and carbon fiber. The main advantage of this material is high strength with low weight. It can be used both in prototyping and in the production of finished functional components. Products made from it are durable, resistant to ultraviolet radiation, a wide range of temperatures, and mechanical stress.

When printed on a Carbon 3D printer, the plastic shrinks very little, which is very beneficial, especially when compared to the production of functional parts from durable ABS plastic. Another undoubted advantage is the ability to use the filament with almost all desktop devices for 3D printing. Below is a carbon plastic from various manufacturers.
