PETG Plastic for 3D Printing

3D plastic Petg is one of the types of materials for 3D printing, which is successfully used for technical purposes. Due to its high impact toughness, strength, and sufficient flexibility, its areas of application can be extremely wide. PETG plastic is resistant to high and low temperatures, organic solvents, alkalis, and acids. Moreover, it is not prone to deformation when cooled and has low shrinkage.

Additionally, PETG plastic is excellent for post-processing. It can be sanded, painted, primed, coated with varnish and paint. When printing on a 3D printer, the melting temperature of the material matters – it is recommended to work with PETG on devices with a heated platform and an extruder heating temperature of at least 220 ˚C.
