Continuing the success of the previous model in the series, the new Ghost 6 also features a stable metal body that prevents vibrations and misalignment during 3D printing and improves the quality of your prints, as well as a large build area of 255×210×210 mm.
What's new in the Ghost 6 design?
New features in this 3D printer include:
- Comes almost fully assembled
Thanks to detailed instructions, you can easily assemble the few remaining elements and start printing immediately.
- Isolated working space
The Ghost 6's fabric cover and acrylic door create a micro-environment inside the working area, allowing printing with plastics more demanding of environmental stability. Print and cool without dust and temperature fluctuations.
- New extruder design
The new Ghost 6 FlyingBear uses a more high-precision direct drive extruder with a removable mechanism. The removable transparent part allows you to observe the filament feeding process and clean out jammed plastic. The gear ratio of 1:7.5 provides sufficient force to feed the plastic thread to the heating element. A dual cooling fan is used, which also improves 3D print quality.
- CoreXY kinematics
Having successfully implemented the CoreXY kinematics solution in the Flyingbear Reborn, the manufacturer transferred it to the Ghost 6, which allows achieving high-quality 3D printing at high speeds with low motion inertia.
- Super quiet in operation Ghost 6
TMC-2225 drivers are used, guaranteeing quiet 3D printing.
Convenient Flyingbear printer control
The printer is equipped with a highly sensitive color 3.5″ touchscreen. Files for printing can be loaded via Wi-Fi, among other options. The spool holder can be easily adapted to coils of different widths.
Sensors and useful functions
The filament sensor automatically pauses 3D printing if it runs out or breaks. The print recovery function resumes the process after a power failure. And the flame detection sensor signals and cuts off power in case of fire.
