K1 — a Printer with High-Speed 3D Printing
The K1 boasts an amazing 3D printing speed of 600 mm/s, which is 12 times faster than most conventional FDM printers. High speed reduces print time and increases efficiency. With an acceleration of 20,000 mm²/s, the printer accelerates to maximum print speeds in just 0.03 s and maintains maximum print speed for up to 90% of the printing process duration.
The K1 combines fast Core XY with a lightweight printhead weighing 190 g for less motion inertia. Agile and swift.
32 mm³/s Full Power Flow
Such high hotend movement speeds must be supported by decent extruder performance. The new ceramic heater, surrounding the entire hotend, heats up to 200 °C in 40 seconds and instantly melts the filament. The printer has a direct drive extruder with dual gear, which provides a powerful extrusion force of 50 N. Hotend with titanium alloy heat break and copper alloy, performing excellently at temperatures up to 300 °C.
Double Cooling
A large fan on the printhead with an air duct cools the model directly. An additional 18W fan in the build chamber enhances the cooling effect.
The model solidifies before any warping or deformation can occur. This allows for creating bridges and overhangs without supports.
Creality Print 4.3 with Speed Genes
The latest self-developed slicer Creality Print 4.3 includes rich preset settings and simplifies the slicing process into 3 simple steps. Moreover, it supports high-speed printing with variable line width, arc, etc.
Speedy Creality OS and Hardware
The K1 3D printer uses the smart Creality operating system. It has a simple interface and synchronizes data and commands with PC, phone, cloud, and optional modules. A fast 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU ensures high printing speed with ease. 8G ROM stores up to 400 model files and provides fast reading and writing.
Efficient Design for Fast Printing Creality K1 Speedy
- Fast heating platform. The aluminum alloy heating base evenly distributes heat up to 60 °C in only 180 s.
- Flexible build plate. The heat-resistant coating has good adhesion and works well with a wide range of filaments. The fine frosted surface makes the bottom of the model delicate and smooth. It bends for quick print removal.
- One-touch self-check. With just one touch, prompt your K1 to self-check the extruder, heat exchanger, camera (optional), fan, leveling, etc.
- Automatic leveling. A series of strain sensors is built into the heating layer to create a precise leveling mesh. No more manual work – the whole process happens automatically after printing starts.
Worry-Free Online Control
The K1 can print via USB drive or Wi-Fi. With network connection, the K1 can be remotely controlled or monitored using Creality Print or the Creality Cloud APP/WEB. You can also manage multiple K1 printers. Get a notification about job completion or error on your phone or PC.
Stability is Important at High Speed
The K1's unibody frame made of die-cast aluminum alloy is CNC machined to be precise and rigid. This ensures stable printing at high speed. And the print quality is always excellent.
No Ringing at High Speed
A G-sensor in the printhead measures the resonant frequencies of high-speed printing and automatically tunes the printer to mitigate them. There are no more ghosting or ringing artifacts on prints.
Delicate Texture Without Z-Banding
The upgraded Z-axis with more precise positioning effectively reduces Z-banding. The texture has never been so fine.
