3D Printing Lifehack
Despite all their potential, desktop 3D printers have a reputation for being nothing more than toys. Many believe they only create clutter on the desk. That is why Dean Zhou, a Chinese lecturer at Nanjing University of Arts, recently held a workshop aiming to inspire users and find convenient solutions for everyday problems using 3D printing. And the results were impressive; this workshop is a great reminder of how much simpler our life can become with a few smart 3D lifehacks.

Thanks to Dean Zhou's work and efforts, an educational course at the university's industrial design school was created. This course aims to attract research into the world of 3D printing, through the use of convenient desktop 3D printers to solve everyday life problems.

And the results of this school are impressive. The emphasis on solutions for everyday problems, even issues you didn't know you had, showed that something very simple, made of original plastic form, can make everything much easier. Just look at the items proposed by the Chinese lecturer. For example, a cutting plate that holds fruits and vegetables in place, an umbrella extender to keep your back, clothes, and backpack dry—all of this shows how 3D printing can make life a little easier.
